Pride Mobility have released a new all carbon fibre mobility scooter. This scooter weighs 39 pounds with the battery and 35 pounds without. It opens and folds in seconds and in folded mode can be pulled like a rolling suitcase. It would be ideal for someone who still has some mobility and has a caregiver who can lift it in and out of a vehicle. This would be a great travelling companion for those still able travel. The battery is flight approved and is clearly marked as such. Unfortunately the seat is only 22 inches high, which may present a problem to some. A cushion could make it manageable. The cost is $4995.00. However it was on sale for 20% off at Motion and shoppers.
