Please note, Myositis Canada will issue tax receipts for donations over $20.00 received through the first three methods listed above.
Donations to Myositis Canada are used primarily to fund Canadian research grants for all types of myositis. We have provided grants that tested a diagnostic tool for dermatomyositis; looked at scleromyositis through a modern lens – a novel histopathological description to improve outcomes; and a grant that may determine the possible antibodies that may cause inclusion body myositis.
